Welcome!  I’ve been in this profession nearly two decades starting at A.G. Edwards in 2004 and then launching my own practice in 2009.  Navigating the financial crisis of 2009 left me wanting to find a more "personalized" process when working with clients.  These experiences along with my advanced degree and CFP® certification provide me the expertise to not only advise on personal goals but also a client’s business or farm.

I also advise physicians thru Premiere Physician Agency, a physician employment specialty firm located in Columbia, MO.  This partnership has allowed me to be published in Practicelink, a career and development magazine for physicians.

I’m fortunate to be located next to my wife’s business, McNaughton Plastic surgery.  Together we have two rumbustious boys and enjoy spending time on our acreage.

After graduating from Storm Lake High School, I received a certificate from WITCC in Sioux City, IA for Medical Secretary and worked in the health insurance industry for 5 years, auditing insurance claims. I started looking for something that was similar to what I was doing but more of a challenge. In 2010 I was hired by Alan Bowles and James McNaughton, MBA, CFP® of A. Bowles Investment Group LLC as an administrative assistant. 

I chose to stay in this career simply because I enjoy helping clients, educating not only our clients but myself in a constantly changing field. Most importantly I enjoy helping clients instill confidence while obtaining their goals through investing. My personal goal is to always treat the client how I would want to be treated.

Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with Brandon and our dog Timmy, friends and family, camping, seeing new things, and traveling.
